Just listen to them and it sounds a little bit like Wicked and Witches of Eastwick and DRS to me. Basically music I have heard before. But, I am glad I am hearing these tunes.

Anyone else think that?

I just can't picture Christopher Lloyd singing anything.

Yeah, I know, but he does have a singing voice.

The only thing I've ever heard him sing was the end of the "Mamushka" from The Addams Family.

"Let's dance the dance of brotherly loooooooooooooooooooooooove! Mamushka!"

sounds pretty good. If that is Christopher Lloyd singing, I certainly can't tell! Everyone sounded good. I am curious to learn more about Carol Kane's character.

Like I've said before, I just don't enjoy old people singing. It's just not a nice sound, but to each his own. Again, when I saw this movie I didn't think "this needs to be a musical," but again, we'll see.

Hmmm.

I had a flashback to DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS upon hearing the opening bars of "WABASHA" - Reminds me a whole heckova lot of the DRS overture. Am I alone in thinking this?

As far as the voice talent involved, I know that Christopher Lloyd can sing. I once saw a clip of him singing a song from Brecht/Weill's HAPPY END. Mr. Hearn is one of my favorites, so yeah, that's that. I have a feeling that upon B'way transfer, this'll garner the same waves as Scoundrels did.

Can't wait to hear more! re: GRUMPY OLD MEN...Audio Clips...

Not sure how I feel about the lyrics (at least in Wabasha). But I love, love, love this movie and am still excited to see the musical.
