sorry ok the movie i think was based off the choreography of Bob Fosse but again I could be wrong. I never claim infalibility This is a lesson in why you should never assume things.
But still think it was mistake to change two of the songs for the movie.

Michael Kidd did the choreography for both the original stage versiona and the Goldwyn film.
Just don't sign up Faith Prince for Adelaide. Lets get more original.
Bulldog.
Ok I figured out what I was thinking. I just watched How to Succeed in Business without really trying last weekend, and that is where I am coming up with the Fosse thing I think. I mix up things like that all the time, and if I am wrong about the How to Succeed thing I am just gonna give up I'm too absent minded. Please tell em I've got it right this time!
Btw how would you compare Michael Kidd's style compared to Bob Fosse? I'd like to know I am not a dancer so it'll be good to get some insight into that. I hope I'm not looking like a complete idiot here, but I didn't discover musicals until high school. My parents used to go to musicals all the time before they had us kids, but they never did after they had kids. Ahhh its sad but I'm enjoying now there is still so much for me to learn, and to me thats exciting. Ok that was off subject, but its late I'm tired and I don't care at this point.

Mister Matt- Mary Stuart Masterson. Yes, yes, yes!!!!!!!!!!!
son_of_a_gunn_25 - Don't sweat it. We all make mistakes. Actually, early in Fosse's career (the whole pre-Sweet Charity phase that the show Fosse never touched, but I liked anyway) could easily compared to Michael Kidd as he had not yet clearly defined his muscle isolation style that became his signature.
Phantom2 - For some reason, I can just see Mary Stuart Masterson in that little Salvation Army outfit being all defiant and everything. I think she would be perfect. Years ago, her father was one of my clients. A very nice man.
