And you research to support this ridiculous assertion is. . .?
GV has grossed almost $5MM in less than 2 months. At an average ticket price of $60, that means more than 83,000 have seen the show. And, judging by the NYT reader reviews, that means about 60,000 people would give it 4 or 5 stars? When will you haters realize that you are a lonely little minority?
luvemcee, Those with thought capacity DO you like the show. We all know you and Munk don't, and yes Munk I know you were one of the bad reviews. The bottom line is that audiences love the show, I know because I've been to see it enough and have talked to many people who have seen it and they say the same thing. Not everyone in every show likes it, however the majority in all the shows, people of all ages have been more positive than negative, I'm sorry that seems to upsets you 2 so much. Good Vibrations, I'm sure much to your dismay, is beating the odds, it's been rumoured to be closing for months and yet they just keep making more money and having fuller audiences AND are performing on national TV. Even if they don't last forever, EVERYONE involved with the production should be proud of what the show has done against all the odds. So guys, let it go and remember you could be involved with a "Good Vibration" show/job some day. Sinenomine, you're awesome with the facts, keep them coming. You and I may have more in common then we know.
No shooting, you are allowed to be in the minority ( the minority is very real, NOT pretend) and to hate the show, it's just not nice to say you have more "Brain Capacity". And you are welcome for me letting it be OK for you to be in the minority :0)
I think my head is spinning from your last sentence. But unless you have an appropriately widespread survey, no matter what side you're on, nobody should be saying minority or majority. Haters are going to say everyone they know saw it and wanted to gauge out their eyes, and shills, etc are going to say everyone and their aunt, uncle, mother and brother loved it. I, however, have a feeling you're very well aware of that. You also probably know full-well that even if I'm a hypocrite and used the word "majority" I didn't mean that everyone who likes the show has no brain. I have friends who liked it. More of a statement to make a point than to be taken literally... I thought that was kind of obvious.
Well, luvemcee at least we agree on something. From the person who LIKES the show and I guess AKA shill. That still just cracks me up that you're only a SHILL if you disgree with those who don't like the show. I think the Wide spread survey is evident in the NYT reviews by viewers. as for Taken literally, goes both ways! Maybe you need to find a better way to make a point. I've seen you do it and make very good points.
That's not what I'm saying. I said I have friends who like the show, and they're certainly not shills. So, I didn't say that everyone who likes the show is a shill; shills are paid to promote the show.
