Is anyone going to see Gavin in the "Bright Lights Big City" concert? I wish I could!!
Does anybody know what Gavin is up to after the D.C. run of "Bounce", besides working on his CD??

Oh that sounds like fun! And no, sorry I don't know anything abotu what he's doing.
Welcome to the board!!!
I haven't really payed attention to the posts made about him.. but aside from being an actor in a show, is he a singer?

The Gavinator is working on his solo CD, so yeah, he would be asinger :), and he is in the Broadway Inspirational Voices choir. And he has a VERY inspirational voice! WOWZERS!
Yes, Christine, he has a very beautiful voice. I assume he will stay with BOUNCE until/if it comes to B'way. I saw him in the Chicago production and his part is rather underwritten. Not more than a couple of lines in ACT I. But the show is being worked on and I am sure they will give him more in the first act.

Sondheim could set the phonebook to music and have Gavin sing it and I would listen. Beautiful tenor.
Unfortunately, some of the BOUNCE score sounds like the phone book put to music and even more unfortunate is the fact that Jane Powell is attempting to sing it. (Ouch)

CD - Gavin was nominated for a Tony for his role as Jimmy in "Thoroughly Modern Millie." You can hear him on the OBC for the show. You can also hear clips at: http://www.angelfire.com/musicals/gcreel/
Gavin Creel also headlined in the first national of Fame. He is an amazing talent!
I LOVED him in Fame. Gavin is absolutely amazing. He is my Broadway Prince- he's going to do so much with his career. He has a beautiful voice.
I wish he was in Fame now! I feel I need to go for camp sake, but I can't think of one reason not to be embarassed while getting a ticket.
Well it was just announced that Harlemm won't be in the cast.
