I’m probably going to see Little Shop in March regardless of peoples’ opinions of the current cast (especially since I want to see Christian Borle regardless of who plays Seymour) but I’m still curious to know what I’m going into.
To those who have seen the show recently: how is Conrad Ricamora in comparison to Groff, Glick, and Jordan? How does it affect the show overall? How would you rank the 4 performances? (I hope that’s not an inappropriate question.)
I have the same question regarding those who have voiced Audrey II if anyone has seen multiple Audrey II’s from this production.

Only saw Gideon Glick so I can’t comment on the others. Little Shop is the only show I’ve wanted to see again since it reopened. I’ll be seeing it again in March and counting down the days.

I used the Little Shop category so whatever thread you think I should’ve posted in isn’t really my problem.

I saw both the original run with Jonathan Groff and again recently with Conrad Ricamora, who I thought did a fantastic job. I think he almost works a little better as Seymour since he's not as conventionally attractive as Jonathan Groff, and I really appreciated his chemistry with Chelsea Turbin who understudied Audrey. As for Audrey II, I think I preferred Kingsley Leggs a bit more as he just had a slightly deeper voice so he seemed more menacing, while Aaron Arnell Harrington who I think is slightly closer to a rock tenor, though I think he came off as more manipulative. Christian Borle really just stole the show both times though.

Joy Woods did Audrey this past Saturday and is so much better than Tammy!
