General Student Rush question....

A friend of mine and I are planning on student rushing a show tomorrow, the only problem is, my friend might have another ticket coming her way for a show she would rather see. So I would give her money and have both student rush tickets...but the only other person I can think of who would come see the show with me if this should happen is my Mom. LOL. Would a theatre give me a problem is my mom and I came in with tickets that were originally purchased as Student Rush?
