It's a true crime that Georgia Brown wasn't more famous and well remembered! Her Nancy in "Oliver!" (at least on the recording) is truly haunting and brilliant. She made a few solo albums, which are incredibly rare and hard to find. I've been trying to see what I could find, if anyone had a copy of her albums, etc.
Any information will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I love Georgia Brown's voice. She certainly didn't get the "due" she was deserved. I love her version of "Alabama Song". It fits her voice so well.
Years ago, I called Pavilion Records in London and they were able to find me an out of print copy of "Georgia Brown Sings Gershwin and Weill". Call them up, they can probably find you a copy. I also have two of her albums. One day I'll figure a way to get them into modern day technology.
