Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre Seating Question

Posted: 6/19/06 at 10:32pmIs the stage very high up at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre? I'm looking at tickets for A Chorus Line and can get Orchestra Left, Row B or Orchestra Left, Row P both are on the aisle. Even though Row B is closer, will I still have a full view of the stage or is it too high up?

It's not too high at all. I sat front row at Caine Mutiny and I could see the floor of the stage. And I am only 5'7. Go with row B.

Posted: 6/25/08 at 10:56pmThe stage shouldn't be too high anymore. I believe they got rid of the "red box" from Jekyll & HYDE when it closed, leaving it a much lower stage. But I haven't been there for 8 years! Sorry I'm not that much help.
