Personal congratulations to the cast and company of HAIR for finally getting the theatre snobs to forgive the hippies, the yippies, the zippies, and God knows what other isms there were for taking over uptown!

It's a belated honor, but congratulations to Jim Rado, Galt MacDermot, Michael Butler, and all in the past, present, and future HAIR tribe who have kept the dream alive long enough to win well-deserved honors for its place in history!

I'm so happy that Hair is finally getting the recognition that it deserves. It truly is one of the finest scores written for the theatre. Galt McDermott, Gerry and Jim all deserved Tonys for this in the original production.
