Getting older - any hope for 30-something actresses...

I worked in Seattle quite a bit for ten years and moved to the east coast for graduate school. After taking three years off - I thought the world would be my oyster. I've found though that there are less and less roles for union actresses since I left to work on my craft. Any words of wisdom from veteran actresses?

In the theater, I think age matters much less than in tv/film. Chenowith is pushing 40 and she's at her peak.

I agree, think of all the actresses spoken of on boards like this. Not everyone is Sutton Foster's age!
