Posted: 5/11/13 at 10:15amI know the tour doesn't begin 'till September however there is usually some mumblings on social media. Does anyone know who is in the US tour of Ghost?

Michael McClure, who I reviewed in ROAD SHOW at Stages' is cast in it. I saw it on his Instagram. I don't know what role.

Posted: 8/4/13 at 1:52pmHate to get away from the topic of the thread but is it worth it to drive an hour and a half and buy full price tickets to see this show. It is not coming to Boston but it is going to Worcester and I have interest in seeing it but only for the effects and stuff. With a tour especially non equity, I doubt the effect will be the same as broadway. Is the show itself worth seeing?

Posted: 8/5/13 at 1:09pmI saw it on Broadway and absolutely LOVED it! I live in boston as well and will definitely be making the trek!

The show doesn't have alot of supporters on this board but I really enjoyed the show, its not perfect but there are some beautiful songs and the effects for Broadway were unreal.

Posted: 8/5/13 at 2:47pmyeah I saw the show in London and enjoyed it... the direction and effects were pretty great... the songs not so much... well i think what ruined it were the Molly songs... it was just too much for me... we get it, Sam died... and her songs just dragged...

Posted: 8/5/13 at 6:58pmI saw it in previews on broadway and loved it as well...

Posted: 8/5/13 at 7:14pmI felt the music overall was the strength of the show. This is a story where they could have easily focused more on the emotion than on the visuals. I think they relied too much on the effects and it seemed to detract from the overall feeling. The walls were just too much.

Posted: 8/5/13 at 7:24pmI thought the set/projections were too much and distracting and thought some of the music was forgettable but I (surprisingly) found myself in tears at the end.

Posted: 8/5/13 at 8:25pmSame here. Only show that had me wiping my eyes on first (and only) attendance.

The show was terrible on Broadway, even the tacky obvious effects couldn't hold my interest.
Why are they touring a show that flopped so badly on Broadway?
Direct from 2 months on Broadway!
(Only not direct and not with that cast)

Posted: 8/5/13 at 9:19pmI was crying my eyes out at the end. Along with pretty much everyone in the theater. I have never attended a show before where there were such audible sobs. The show might not be the best written(I think the score is somewhat uneven) but there are a lot of gems in there. "With You" is by far one of the most heart breaking numbers in a show IMO, and "Rain/Hold On" is thrilling. I can't wait to see it again.
