:-P My friend (also an adam-aholic) said that if she ever met him she'd run up to him and give him a huge kiss. She is quite reckless like that. I'm not sure if that would be a gift though....for HIM anyways...she'd be in high heaven though. :-P God I'd laugh if I were there when/if she were to do something like that.

Miss him a lot. I want to hug him so badly when I see him, but I probably won't. re: Gifts?

Same here, Emcee same here. Although I will probably never get to meet him (though there have been funny times where I've been in the same room as actors who I've really admired without knowing it) I'd give him a hug if I ever got the chance to. :-P

A single $5 Faerie Tale Theatre DVD.

I know, I know...very unoriginal. I'm sure Broadway performers get HUNDREDS of those every week.

um..
I made a scrap book (I made the cove for the performer to fill the book) with the logo of their show on the cover and a cute saying on it for a performer.. I think it was rather nice.

Oh and my Penny Charms.. There are only 4 (like mine) in existence my dad made them and I gave them to 2 Penny's, I have one and I of the actresses asked if she could give one to the next Penny as a welcome kind of thing.. I wear mine every day.. but I'm a dork like that.

umm, well ive made and given lots of gifts, but one of the coolest things I did wasnt even the gift itself, it was the box. I had brought Matt Morrison a gift when I saw the show in LA because it was his last show. I used cardboard and constructed a coffin, painted it and all. The front said "RIP Link Larkin, his death was essential to the growth of your rising star." Twisted, but fun!

I gave Linda Eder a bouquet of flowers. I also gave her a card thanking her for entertaining me all the years I had been listening to her. She was so sweet, as she thanked me for the "lovely card".

"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive. "Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot." "No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one." Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

You used to be able to order a bottle of champagne and get a special "Opening Night" gift card from BC/EFA. They'd inscribe the card any way you wanted and then deliver both to the actor at the stage door. I utilized this service until they stopped doing it a few years ago. It's a shame because it seemed like the perfect gift. I haven't sent anything since they stopped doing that.

If I happen to catch the show, I bring my friends that do national tours little gift bags of fun things to make tour life a little more interesting. Doesn't really count though I guess for this thread. Ah well, thought I'd share anyway. =)

I made a scrapebook for Kate Buddeke (Mazeppa in Gypsy) because she rocks my world! (hehee) Besides that, I bought Bernadette Peters a dog from Build-a-bear for her Birthday. I've given flowers to BP, Tovah and Donna Murphy. Now that I'm thinking about it, I do want to get something for Joanna Gleason because she's brillant!

Jennifer Gambatese gave ME roses.
It was when she was in Fame in Toronto, I talked to her after the show beacuse I was doing Fame at my highschool at the same time. And because the show was on tour she didn't really want to keep all of her flowers, so she gave me this whole bouqet of yellow roses!

I gave Louise Pitre a bottle of reeeeaaaaallly expensive wine, which I carried all the way from Israel (she loves wine and I wanted to give her something from my country). I've also brought her flowers with cards I made myself from all sorts of pretty materials. Oh and I once got her a Dr. Seuss book.

Yeah I like this woman. A lot. re: Gifts?
