I ushered at Glengarry Glen Ross yesterday and had the opportunity to finally see the show. It was a great play with a gerat cast. Alan Alda and Liev Schrieber stood out the most. Moving on to Doubt...I bought balcony seats. The balcony seats should be banned from being sold because you have to elan forward for the entire show to see it. Anyway, I was just wondering, did anyone else think that Heather Goldenhersh deserved the Tony Award over Ms. Lenox? Don't get me wrong, Ms. Lenox is a gerat performer, but I think she had maybe 5 or 10 minutes of stage time as opposed to Ms. Goldenhersh who had a large amount of stage time. I just felt that Sister James (played by Ms. Goldenhersh) was a stronger role and that it deserved the Tony.
