Regretfully, I think it will go to cast album limbo & never see the light of day.

After so long, what would the interest in it be from the general public. Next to nill unfortunately.

Not true at all Mr. Roxy. Jay is famous for taking forever to get their releases out - DESSA ROSE took a very long time, as did SUMMER OF 42

JAY recorded the complete Anyone Can Whistle with John Barrowman when... 1999? It's still listed as forthcoming...

However I agree it'll prob be out early 2009. I had my doubts with Dessa Rose and it came out. JAY does well by Ahrens/Flahherty

I agree it will probably come out eventually...very belatedly as usual.

Between the release lag time that gets ever-wider and the mediocre sound quality on the JAY discs, does anyone else just wish A&F would move over to Ghostlight, who always does a timely and wonderful job with their releases!

I just got an e-mail back yesterday morning fom the people at Jay and here's what they had to say about The Glorious Ones:

Hi Sam

The Glorious Ones is in final production and will be available on our website in approximately a month. General release in the USA will be around March/April. Unfortunately we have to wait for "slots" with our distributor.
