I saw it on Sunday and it's really a fantastic show. It's playing on 10th street and 1st avenue in an off-off-broadway theater. It's written by Yip Harburg, who wrote Finian's Rainbow, and his grandson is in it. It's only playing for one more weekend but if you have a chance to see it, it's definitely worth it.

I'm so jealous!
God, what my CD collection must be worth?

I've always liked the score for Flahooley -- apparently, it was a mish-mash of a show when done originally and was pitted against the newly-opened Guys and Dolls, King and I, Call Me Madam, plus the original versions of South Pacific, Kiss Me Kate and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (anyone remember when we had that assortment of shows to choose from?). Sorry I won't be able to see it.
Definitely worth a visit! The cast is just "ok", but there is a lot of clever theatrical creativity in the staging..... and the score has many forgotton gems.
