Interesting that they still bill themselves as the "Godspell cast".

You're almost as bitter about Godspell not happening as you are about your tiny overpriced apartment, huh?
What else should they call themselves? "The cast formerly known As Godspell"?.
I'm a bit confused as to what is happening with this production. It was announced as cancelled on the forum part of BWW but then a few days later an official announcement on the news page was made saying it was just post-poned. Can anybody clear up to me what is happening about this? I love Godspell and was looking forward to the revival. Hope someone can help :)

The producers are looking for the last $1 million. If they can get that in place, the show will go ahead. Would you like to invest in a Broadway show?
I actually thought it was weird too. They could just list the last names... I just felt it odd to say Godspell cast, when the show is off for right now.

I found it a little odd too. I love Godspell and would LOVE to see this production happen. I was confused by the two articles too and when I made a post about it, everyone thought I was denial of it not happening. There is a sign across from the Richard Rogers Theater for Godspell still.
I hope they can find a last investor... I'll invest 20 dollars if that counts for anything...

If I had $1 million to invest in a Broadway show, I'd invest it in a BROADWAY show - not an ill-advised revival of a little Off-Broadway show that belongs in a little Off-Broadway theatre.
