Going to See Light in Piazza...any tips?

I have tickets for Light in the Piazza on Tuesday and I was wondering if I should listen to the music first before I saw it? I don't remember when the OBCR comes out but I know its soon. Will listeing to the music ruin the show?

I'd go without hearing the music, and buy the CD while you're there. The music is beautiful on first hearing, and I always find it easier to get into the story when I haven't heard the music before.

Go with a clean slate. I'd only heard two songs when I went, and I'm glad that was the case. I hope you love it!

I'd say don't know the music before you go. I didn't when I went, but then again I never go to shows having known the music if I can help it.

I agree with everyone. Go cold turkey and allow the score to hit you for the first time. It's really quite a remarkable thing and allows for a completely fresh experience - and help you create your own initial opinions. (I had only heard two songs prior to going and was completely floored by the score as a whole).
