Goldstar has been my go-to site for discount tickets (theatre, ballet, opera) in DC since the discount ticket booth I used to go to closed a few months ago.
Many dates for Showboat appeared on their site today, and I immediately purchased one. As soon as I hit purchase, I realized the day I selected was not a good one. I sent them an e-mail and asked if I could switch to another day. Within an hour, everything was taken care of. I was absolutely shocked as I was expecting an "all sales final" answer to my inquiry.

I recently bought a ticket for a friends show without realizing that I had a rehearsal on the performance night. I emailed them asking if it might be possible to switch nights and they also responded and changed my tickets within an hour. I was extremely impressed with their customer service!
On the other hang, last year, my computer crashed in the midst if a ticketmaster transaction. I thought I had lost the ticket as I had not confirmed so after I restarted my computer, I bought a ticket. Later, I got an email saying o had purchased two tickets (while only needing one) and spent hours on the line trying to remedy the situation to no avail. Ticketmaster has NO customer service which is why it is so great to do business with a company like Goldstar.
