Good to hear...I have only heard wonderful things about the lighting design/DT program.

As for The Tale of the Allergist's Wife, there is a large possibility I will be working on this show in April. If not, I will see it for sure.

Shaw's Man and Superman
LaBute's The Shape of Things...very good play, although it doesn't work out too well on film.

Ibsen's A Doll's House is good, too, though I've had bad experiences with it. I somehow spent two pages writing about it on my midterm essay when it wasn't a choice to write about...yeah, didn't do too well on that.

i def second neil simon plays and streetcar. also, "who's afraid of virginia woolf" by albee, who also wrote the crucible, is extremely good too, i just read it.

I agree with Joshua on all those plays.
"Homeboy/Kabul" is great as well as "A Bright Roo Called Day" both by Tony Kushner
"Antigone" has got to be the greatest greek play
"Lysistrata" is a funny greek is youre not offended by sexulity (and a lot of it)
"The Visit" by Fredrich Duremuent (spelling wrong)
"Idiots Delight"
"Noises Off" one of the funniest things (but better on stage)

but i will have to disagree on "A Doll House" one of the most boring and unrealistic plays i have read (even though it is the first realism play)

My number one suggestion has to be Cloudstreet by Nicholas Enright as you will probably never get the chance to see it performed. It is very long and I saw all 7.5 hours in one day at the Royal National Theatre in London (though it was an Australian production import) and was absolutely riveted! The staging, direction and performances were all flawless and I would have easily sat through the whole thing all over again. I was stunned that Lincoln Center has never picked up this production given the success of the show in Australia, England, Ireland and Switzerland, and the fact that the Beaumont and RNL stages are practically identical.
