Hi,
My cousins are going to be coming up to NY the last week in July Till the Middle of August and my family wants to take them to a broadway show. My cousins are 10 & 17. I think they've only seen Mary Poppins. My mom was thinking LB bc we could all eaisly get rush for it but she worried that bc they are coming up the last week of July the show won't be good bc LBB leaves July 20h. I want to take my 16 year old cousin to SA. But I don't think its a show for the family. What other shows could we see that we would have a guarnetee at $20-25 tickets? At LB was my mom and sister went on May18th there was only 10 people online so they got right in.

Thanks and sorry if this is an annoying thread.

Hmmm how about Little Mermaid....its a good family show...idk if you would be able to def. get 20-25 dollar tickets tho...WICKED has a lotto where you submit your name and if your choosen you can get front row seats for $25 dollars...but you can only get two and the chances of winning are low...eek...sorry I guess I'm not much help lol

hmm 10 and 17? I would say either In the Heights or Hairspray, but that's just me.

In The Heights lotto but you aren't guaranteed a ticket. And there are so many threads of "What to see" and you wil get the same answers and if you want the cheap tickets then look at the discounts or rush things on playbill.com

Are your parents also getting rush tickets to these shows?

Get your ITH tickets now- 30 bucks per in the rear mezz (which are fantastic seats!)

And I think Hairspray has 20 dollars in advance--not sure though.

Mary Poppins is a great family show! But since they've seen it, I would go with "Young Frankenstein" or "Legally Blonde".

Legally Blonde, The Little Mermaid or The Lion King.

...heads up! Coolkid mentioned that the cousins have already seen "Mary Poppins"... =I

Wicked, if you can get tickets...if not, try Hairspray, Lion King.
Depending on how grown up the 16 year old is...try Little Mermaid.

And, I think YF might also be OK, but as a last resort.
