Goodbye Footlight.

Today is Footlights last day of the store. Though they'll still be online, there's something sad that we won't be able to walk in and enjoy their wonderful selection and their great staff. If anyone goes, all their cds are 75 percent off. Best wishes to everyone involved in making that store what it was. Truly a New York treasure. :)

I loved Footlight REcords because it SMELLED like the record stores I recalled from my youth.

And also APPLAUSE Bookstore in the UWS will be closing on Weds as well...a true theatre book lovers special place!

No just in store. They are staying online. They had an oline sale about a month ago, where I think cds were 35 percent off.
