Some things that troubled me:
The song "Great Big Stuff" - did he croak at the end? Then try to cover it up? Sounded this way, but I'm sure they wouldn't release that. Ruined the song for me, a bit.
The song "Chimp In A Suit" - TELL ME this isn't the same score that you hear in the computer game THE SIMS while your building a house!
bump
Chimp in a Suit is the only song I really can't stand. I don't know why, it just bugs me. And it DOES sound like The Sims!
It does sound like the SIMS but I still really like it, I just see Norbert prancing around and I loved Greg. I don't understand the grunt thing at all, but if it is there there is a good possibility it is intentional and in character.
Where did you get your copies? I'm in NYC, and I can't find a copy anywhere.
freelancer, I'm sure you don't want to pay their prices but it is at Colony. Maybe its at Virgin Mega as well?
I would rather wait than pay Colony prices, and Virgin was a no-go. At least yesterday.

i got mine yesterday at the Tower Records in the village- 4th and bway
Also does anyone know where the Pacific Overtures Revival went? it was at Virgin last week, then it was completely gone and I can't find any copies anywhere (it wasn't even at Colony)
Might have to break down and make a trip down there. I work in midtown, so I'll probably give the Tower up here one more try. Very frustrating.
Tower in the village often seems to get the stuff sooner, and have better stuff than the one near Lincoln Center, but I agree its just so far from here. (Columbia area)
*plays Chimp in a Suit*
Oh my gosh! Thats insane.
I love Chimp.
At the end of Great Big Stuff he says "yeahhh" kind of how he does it in the show.
I GOT IT!!! If you're in Midtown, the FYE at 6th and 52nd has 4 more copies. It's $18.99, but thankfully we get a corporate discount there. Woohoo!!! It's going in my computer now!

Does anyone know where I can purchase the cast recording online? I tried iTunes, but I couldn't find it there.
Thanks
Amazon has it, but it's not shipping for 2-3 days. BN isn't releasing it until May 17. You can order it at sh-k-boom.com, but I don't know it they're shipping yet. Virgin ships via Amazon. Tower is also shipping. Target has it and is shipping immediately.
I ordered from Amazon and my order is already in transit. I just ordered it last night along with Pacific Overtures. I had them both sent with one-day shipping, and they confirmed to me about an hour ago that both have been sent.

Arrggg! That's not fair! I preordered from Amazon last week and they still have my shipping estimate listed as May 17!

Lots of shipping problems this week-- PS Classics had trouble with both their releases this week, Pacific & Sondheim Sings. They are hoping to have everything shipped this week. Ghostlight was apparently having trouble keeping ahead of orders on "DRS". They have CDs shipping every week this month, so I'd imagine they are stretched pretty thin. My store got 1 of the 30 copies they'd ordered Tuesday! Sony/BMG is saying "ASAP" but who knows when that will be!
So since I put DRS and Pacific Overtures on the same order they'll probably never come
Footlight in NYC has it for $15.95...They also had the PACIFIC OVERTURES and SONDHEIM SINGS.
