did anyone ever see "grace of my heart" the movie with Illeana Douglas and John Tuturro? It would be a great musical I think.

I liked Grace of My heart a lot, but it was already a musical.

Leader of the Pack used Ellie Greenwich's actual songs but told the same story not nearly as well. The songs were used in Leader of the Pack more as book songs than in Grace which was really a story with songs as commentary.

Would you use a new score or the existing Grace songs?

Love the movie, love the soundtrack but agree with BOSQ, the movie is a musical of sorts and leader of the pack kinda covered this (although Grace is more Carole King than Ellie Greenwich).
