Before you all flip out, "Avenue Q" and "The Boy from Oz" were not eligible, according to Broadway.com. And, that horrible "Little Shop" CD (Blech!) wasn't either. Updated On: 12/4/03 at 01:13 PM
I bet it goes to Movin' Out... Billy Joel probably has a lot of pals in Grammy land.
"For an album to be eligible, it had to be released between October 1, 2002 and September 30, 2003. So, recently-released cast albums for shows like Avenue Q, Little Shop of Horrors and The Boy from Oz were not in the running."
Whew...Oh well, that's OK then. AVENUE Q will be in next years' running.
Oh, LcZ, don't get your hopes up. Ave.Q will be compeating against Laughing Room Only for best OBC album next year.
Sueleen, your photo is hilarious.

Hopefully this time next year Wicked will be nominated as well? I hope Man of La Mancha wins- BSM has the most amazing voice I've ever heard. Moved me to tears.
