I'm Marty, and her role in the show includes a solo which isn't in the movie. Is there a movie of the stage version anywhere? I would really like to see my role to get an idea. Thanks!

The song is Freddy My Love. There is no video of the stage production (unless you count one of the many regional productions of Grease I've been in lol), but you can just pick up the CD and you should be fine.
The roles are no different than the movie, except for a few small added 'depths' at differnt points.

Ive done that show so many times at this point it's who WASNT I? lol
Freddy My Love happens where "Hopelessly Devoted to You" happens in the movie. It's open to interpretation how it's staged though.

Posted: 1/1/05 at 6:11pmI have the script and all already. I jsut want toget a feel for it before our rehearsls in January. The guy playing Danny and I are dying to get started so we were like ok, we'll see if there's a movie of it jsut to see. Oh well.....

here's my advice - though watching the movie would give you a
"feel" for the song..you're so much better off just winging it. otherwise you won't be able to do as much original thinking on the character..you'll be stuck in the idea of what you saw on the movie. i'm not saying this just for you...it's what tends to happen. so just do your own thing with the character, it'll be much more interesting that way :).
