Grease OBC/ Kathi Moss

For all you late 70s/ early 80s Broadway gurus-
I was talking to a friend about her aunt that she's not very close to - named Kathi Moss. She told me that her Aunt Kathi was originally in Grease and a few other shows, but she did not know any details because her aunt was bitter about the commercialization of Broadway and therefore she refuses to talk about her past career. From internet research I found that she was also in Nine - Does anyone know who she played in Grease or Nine or anything else about Kathi Moss?

She was the original Saraghina in NINE.

I don't know Kathi Moss, but, ironically, I am going to a Cabaret tonight with Ilene Kristen (Roxy; One Life to Live) who was Patty Simcox in the OBC. I could ask her, considering that my friend who is taking me is really good friends with her.

Interestingly many of the original NINE ladies moonlighted on OLTL and AMC. :)

ooh wow i didnt realize that she was Saraghina.. you would think her neice would know that. I've been looking it up- and have found two different lists of OBC and one says she played Cha Cha and one says she played Rizzo... I really dont think she played Rizzo though. Does anyone have an OBCR or a cast list?

I don't have an OBC recording of Grease but I thought Lucy Arnaz played Rizzo.

Adreienne Barbeau was the first Rizzo, Glebby.

I think Kathi Moss stayed with GREASE for many years as Cha Cha. And I seem to recall tht Tommy Tune created the role of Mmme PeePee in GRAND HOTEL especially for her.

I adored her. I saw her rioutously funny performance as Cha Cha in GREASE and for me she was one of the two best things about the original production of NINE, performing "Be Italian."
The part of Rizzo in GREASE was created by Adrienne Barbeau.

You're so lucky you saw original Grease and A Little Night Music WISHIHADATONY! Yes, wildcat already reported that Barbeau created Rizzo.
Do you know what has become of Shelley Burch? She was the very pretty Claudia who moonlighted on One Life To Live.

Thanks for the help everyone... I'm off to teach my friend about her aunt's career... anyone have any Kathi Moss memories?
