Here is an article from New York Magazine about Max and Laura from Grease. What is really interesting is towards the end they talk about how they are expecting bad reviews and how Kathleen Marshall has been preparing them to get panned. According to Max they will get bad reviews because of the reality TV show.
Also it says in it that Kathleen Marshall was working on Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me in Chicago. I looked up the production credits and her name isn't mentioned. Do any of you know what she did on the show?

The London 'reality tv' production of 'Grease' has just extended its run thru till next June before it even opens. Thats the great Piccadilly Theatre taken up for another few years -what a waste.

I posted this weeks ago when it first was published.
Regarding them knowing they'll get bad reviews, it's kind of a given. Would you really expect Clive Barnes would give the show a good review?
What Marshall was doing was preparing them, two naive, green kids, for the worst.
She was the uncredited show doctor on Fame Becomes Me, by the way.
The show has an open-ended run, the only thing they are extending are the ticket sales, doesn't mean anything.
Ricky Paul Goldin in 700 performances in 1994?? What was that writer on when he mentioned that? Would anyone tell the correct number of performances of R.P.G. in Grease (1994)? thanks... RC in Austin, Texas
