I had Great Comet tickets (on stage, too!) but they were after the closing date. I just wanted to see if anyone else is dealing with the same problem as me and want to talk about it because I was really looking forward to seeing this show.

I had tickets for the 9/30 matinee, the Anatole "It's a Russian custom..." interaction seat...
I'm flying in from Wisconsin just for a weekend to see it (well, not anymore) and Dear Evan Hansen. I'm incredibly disappointed, since I was really looking forward to it.

I had a ticket for the pizza slice (TN 1) for the Saturday after they close - was traveling in specifically for the show. Was really hoping they'd be able to last past Labor Day, as I'm away and can't just swap tickets and get to NYC to see it before that (I'm from Boston). Very disappointed I won't get to experience the show, but holding onto the hope that they do get the national tour off the ground that's being talked about - it won't be the same, but it will at least be something.

I thought I had that seat for 9/19, but I was given the wrong info so I'm going to end up in the row right behind it

I had just bought onstage seats for September 17th hours before the announcement. Was so disappointed to hear about closing.
On that note has Telecharge contacted anyone yet about refunds? I only have the option to exchange right now but I can't go on another date.

I called them last night. It was only 20 minutes or so after the announcement and the guy said it hadn't hit their system yet. But he said when it did I'd get an email asking if I wanted a refund or to get tickets to another show. He then said if you don't choose anything a refund will automatically go back to your card once the date you had purchased tickets for passes

Call Telecharge. I called them literally less than 30 minutes after the notice went up - the customer service agents had no clue the show was closing as they hadn't received word yet. I got my refund. Just call them up and tell them that you have tickets for TGC but as it will now be closing Sept. 3rd you need a refund. They'll take care of it.

Since I'm an international costumer, I guess I'll just email them and wait.
I had tickets to sit on stage on September 8, the weekend of my birthday. Oh well, at least I got to see it. Thank god I had not purchased my plane ticket.

I just got the email. Seems to be for an exchange only. Might have to call if you want an immediate refund

I called and they refunded me. You cannot ask for a refund online so unless you call you will not be refunded until September 3rd passes (or that's what I was told by Telecharge.)

How long does it take to actually receive the refund? I called this morning and they said only 24-48 hours, so I was curious if others have received it in that time frame?

Does anyone know if we'd be able to exchange our ticket for a different show sold through Telecharge? Going earlier in the month isn't an option, and my work schedule (in addition to living on the west coast) makes it hard to phone during business hours. Since I'll be in NYC in late September, I'd rather exchange for a different show than get a refund..

How long were you guys on hold with Telecharge? I just called and was there for seven minutes before I realized this was going to be a very expensive international call and thought of trying later, at a less busy time.

I was on hold for awhile...at least four songs worth of wait time, lol (although at least they play songs from the current musicals as their hold music - made it go by faster!)
Have not had the refund hit my card yet. I expect it to in the next 24-48 hours though - that was about when it hit after my friend and I got refunded for the Mandy debacle.

If you guys need to call, right now is a great time. I was not put on hold.
So, from my poor english (I guess that's why I need to listen to cast recordings before getting there), I understood that they'll be returning the money to my bank in 24-48 hours and they'll get it back to me on their schedule. (but at some point he said "Hold on to your order" and then he said that ^) ¯\_(?)_/¯

I'm Australian and am coming to New York later this year to see a bunch of shows, one of which was Great Comet. Telecharge was happy to deal with my request for a refund via email, I didn't have to make a phone call.
