Green Room Radio, the arts & entertainment Podcast, is proud to announce an
interview with Tony Award winning singer, songwriter and composer, Jason Robert Brown. The interview comes in time with the release of Mr. Brown's debut album,
Wearing Someone Else's Clothes, on Sh-K-Boom Records. After making his mark on the theatre world with his scores for Songs For A New World, The Last 5 Years, and Parade (for which he won the 1999 Tony Award for Best Score), Jason took his talent for storytelling and his love of the singer-songwriter genre to create a sound not heard since the glory days of Billy Joel and Elton John. It also be noted that in the interview, Jason also reveals his love for a certain Disco Diva.
Green Room Radio was created in March 2005. "Armed with a microphone and a load of questions, Green Room Radio has a hand in all the different forays of show business...Upset at the way the media was covering respectable performers and
artists, Green Room Radio creator Erich Bergen set out to create a source where people could listen to an artist speak from their heart, not from a cue card. In just the first 5 months alone, Green Room Radio has talked to Tony Award winning composer Jason Robert Brown, Rolling Stone editor and author Greil Marcus, film
director Dori Berinstein, record executives Tommy Krasker and Kurt Deutch and many more," states a press article.
