I saw Greg tonight on Grounded for Life. When I realized it was him I about freaked out!
Thank you for posting that Dre, I hadn't heard. That's so exciting. Congratulation Alan! I wish them all the best.
She saw the Prestige.
I just got back a signed headshot from JLY. Exactly a week is all it took. And even though I only asked for one signed for a friend of mine he sent a second signed for me as well along with a card. How sweet was that. That really brightened my otherwise dull day.
Edit: I just got a signed picture-card thingy from John Strickland today.
Two down, two more to go.
I think she means exactly that. She got a postcard from Mutual of Omaha.
"I'm Muriel from Omaha."
"Pleased to meet you."
"It's mutual."
Get it now.
haha. When I saw your avatar on the first page of the thread I squealed when I saw it was Harley, then I see you posted about it. And I agree. He's hot and such a sweet guy. I'll be driving 3 hours in April to see the tour a second time just because of him.
Aw. It sounds like you had such a great time. When I go in April I'll have to get there early though because I'll be getting the $20 rush seats. I take it that's what you had as well?
And I'm jealous that you got to meet him. I was unable to when I saw the tour in November due to where I was parked (and being with friends that didn't want to wait in the cold anyway). But, I've been talking with him sporadicaly since November on Myspace. He's such a doll.
And I'm going to check out your myspace now.
That's so strange about having the same experience. It makes me laugh. Aw, he tried not to suck. lol. That's too cute. He could never though.
After seeing the show in November I had told him that I might be going to Buffalo soon there after to see the show again and he told me to make sure to let him know which performance so he could look for me; but I never made it. So I'm very excited about April. I want so badly to meet him.
If acting/singing isn't for you but you want to be a part of the shows there is always the stage crew, lighting, sound, building sets (provide it's a HS production) and random ushering and ticket selling/taker. But if you really want to be a apart of a production just do whatever it is they will let you do, it'll be fun.
That really sucks Kerrie. It was like that here too. We had about 3 feet of snow yesterday morning and I had to get up extra early to shovel the driveway because school wasn't cancelled. Ugh.
Kevin Greene, from that Grease show (he's from my home town and the son of an old teacher of mine) is performing a concert today @ 1:00. I cannot wait to go. I'm pretty pumped.
Much luck to you Dre.
And I have to say. I know on the show Kevin wasn't popular at all (thus why he was the third Danny to leave) but seeing him perform live, wow. That boy is amazing, not to mention absolutly beautiful in person. His voice is so pure and he has an amazing belt as well. He was very funny too, always cracking jokes in between songs (he really takes after his father in that respect).
He sang all show tunes (except one) and when an audience member asked him to sing something from Grease he said he couldn't because he didn't have the piano music for any songs but in the end ended up singing the most beautiful A Capella version of 'Sandy'.
I went with some friends and felt like such a dork because the majority of the people there were friends/family of Kevin and then a ton of little 12 year olds and their parents. My groups was definitly the oldest of everyone there, but we joked tht that meant that we were the only ones that stood a chance with him (if he wasn't already dating someone. A broadway actress at that).
He was super sweet when we met him (they had an autograph line set up) and on the table he had a jar where he was collecting money to donate to BC/EFA. I put some in of course. I got an autograph and a picture and overall it was a great time.
He also said he's got quite a few auditions lined up for the coming weeks and he will be returning to the show for the finale.
haha. Better it's not Greg. He's much too nice to ever play Jud.
And 'Hello' to everyone. Hope all is well with you guys.

I love New York City. I've officially decided that part of my life (be it a summer or a year or more) is going to be spent there. It is yet to be determined how it will be spent, but I will live there.
In other news, I loved both Mary Poppins and Les Mis. Especially Gavin Lee (I'm in love with that man), Adam Jacobs, and Aaron Lazar. They are gorgeous. And amazing. And I'll write more tomorrow.
I'm still floating from Les Mis.
Yep - they're cousins. Lola's big brother was 2 on his last birthday - 3/15! So the birthdays are 3/7, 3/15, and 3/21. March is going to be a CRAZY month around here!
Hey Ali!
And speeking of thinking of Greg, I was at a store earlier today and they had an entire section of things from Paris. Lots of Eiffel tower figures and things. It made me think of Greg.
I was in my Bio of HIV/AIDS class today and we watched a video. There were a lot of scientists talking, on of which was named Ruth Ruprecht. I laughed. Probably too much.
And I saw a car in the parking lot of school whose license plate started with 'DRS...'
Boys are jackasses.
That is all.
Actually.
No it's not.
Jason Gillman (of DRS) is in the latest Legally Blond Video thingy.
He's pretty funny.
I quite like him a lot.
Now, that it all.
I'm seeing the tour of RENT tonight. I'm stoked. It's going to be so much fun and I cannot wait to see Harley and Declan again. No stage dooring though.

Seriously, when his are was around me I almost fainted. I was front row last time I saw it too, right in front of Harley during Seasons of Love.
I'm so happy it was great, though I'm not surprised. I'd give anything to see this cast again. That's awesome that they walked right in front of you! And I think Declan changes hair frequently.
I should edit my post but I'll just post again. Actually I wasn't front row. This theatre doesn't have a pit. Well they do but they had these huge planks of...something covering it up. Then three rows of chairs sitting on top (you could feel the vibrations and your chair moving all night from the music, it was really cool) with a black curtain seperating the chairs from the front row of the Orchestra. My seat was the third row of the set up chairs on the end. Same as you though, right infront of Harley for SoL. It was such an odd set up but I really felt like I was VIP, with the seperating curtain and all.
Ali: That's amazing that you're already half way there. Congrats! And Spelling Bee is such a cute, fun show. I loved it.
I watched the TV Land awards just to see the comercials with Greg throughout. How sad is that? But, it was neat to see Greg on TV in something new; even if it was only for 30 seconds at a time, three times. It was strange to see him with dark hair though, but he looks good.
