Grey Gardens - Ebersole

A friend went to see Grey Gardens last evening for the first time and Chritine Ebersole was out. He left at intermission. Anyone know if she is ill?

She probably was ill and wasn't feeling up to performing. She was also probably taking extra precaution especially since the Tonys are tonight!

That or there was an emergency she needed to deal with. There were a couple of threads on this last night. How did your friend like Maureen Moore?

I didn't get a chance to speak in detail with him last evening. He was quite disappointed because he came into town from New Haven with a friend to see it and to attend the Tonys tonight. He did leave at intermission though.

She is in a show & gives a great performance. Lets not treat her like the second coming of the messiah

I'm shocked that someone would leave at intermission just because Christine wasn't there.Thats extremly narrow-minded.

Off topic, why is the curtains logo up below the broadwayworld.com logo?

Or they're just a poser who only goes to shows to say "Oh my gooooooood! I saw her in Grey Gaaaaaaaardens right before she won the Toooooony!"

He left because he did not like Act 1 at all. Yes he probably should have stayed since Act 2 is much better in my opinion. But he is not narrow minded or a poser.

Well, her performance kind of is.

Oh, and she was probably rehearsing for tonight's performance on the Tony Award broadcast. I don't think she's ill at all.
