She was very quiet, but also very gracious. I think it must be hard for her to sign autographs and be talkative after giving such an extraordinary performance that must take so much out of her! I was glad she came out though, and she was decked out in fur and louis vuitton!

...What happened next, was stranger still, a woman breathless and afraid, appeared out of the night, completely dressed in white. She had a secret she would tell, of one who had mistreated her. Her face and frightened gaze, my mind cannot erase...But then she ran from view. She looked so much like you...

Yankeefan - wow, you're opinion is QUITE the oppoesite of mine and everyone else I talked to about the show...

I thought Act I was OK, but it was rather uneventful (yet everything was neseccary). Act II was brilliant.

John McMartin's career defining role? HAH! The part isn't even that large. He has one meaty scene, the rest bitty parts. Brilliant, yes, but I don't think he'd get a Tony for it. Ebersole and Parker will get nods.

I have seen GG a couple of times now and can not understand why Jane2 thinks Erin Davie is weak. I found her to be quite the opposite. Updated On: 10/22/06 at 12:41 PM
