Posted: 9/15/03 at 5:02pmthis weekend i saw another one of my "guilty pleasures"...though it has little to do with musicals. It's that seagoing melodrama homoerotic soap opera WHITE SQUALL. Anyone know what i'm talking about?!?!

oh my god! Gease 2 is the best! I grew up just dreaming about my Cool Rider...and where do you think I learn to spell that so well ;c) Michael is a dreamboat!
As for musicals, I love Civil War, that was so amazing to see. Was Lucky Stiff a bomb? Either way, that's a good one too.

Rage of the Heart, definitely. That's such a bad concept, with such tragic casting. Michael Ball as Abelard? Anything with lyrics like" "I demand a phallus of flame, eternally rising, that never goes lame" is just wrong, but amusingly so.
I'm not sure if Paris counts, but Greek Kings rocking out like an 80s hair band? What's not to love?
