Hi

Does anyone know when the new Guys and Dolls soundtrack will be released? I heard there was one coming out and the show has been running for ages now!

Assuming you mean a cast album, there is no word that one has even been recorded unfortunatly. With the main cast leaving in early December, it's not looking like there will ever be one for this production...

There's been talk of it from 'reliable' sources on the What's On Stage discussion board for a while now. Apparently it was recorded not long after the show opened and was due for release any time now. Guess we'll just have to wait and see...

Yeah there has been talk also that if you send enough letters to the theatre, and enough interest is stirred, they'll make it. Which for some reason, doesn't make sense to me, because it only makes sense to make a recording for any new West End show anyway, right?
