OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO it was good!
I would just like to start by saying that EVERY single cast member, whether lead or ensemble did amazing.
So let's begin with Jenna Russell. Sweetest lady alive, and she was a cute, pretty, sweet Sarah Brown with the greatest voice! She was in one word flawless.
Jane Krakowski. Like Jenna, flawless. She was cast so perfectly. She was sexy, cute, beautiful, funny, with a voice to die for. PPPPERFECT.
Douglas Hodge. Loved him to death. Now I don't know much about Nathan Lane's performance as Nathan Detroit except for the cast recording, but I gotta say, Douglas Hodge beats EVERYBODY. He was SO GOOD. Loved him.
P.s. New song?? "Adelaide" ....very nice, very nice indeed
And of course Ewan. Ahhh where to begin?? Keep in mind mucho gushing shall ensue so feel free to leave at any time you feel like throwing up:
His singing was.Hherflushriyuwq3647p3. That last belt of "tonight" in "Luck Be a Lady" was so spine chilling. And just everything in general he did with his voice was great!
As for acting? Well, duh, amazing. You couldn't make out his accent at all because of his New York accent he put on for the show.
And his dancing was like...WOAH!
"Havana" was spectacular the whole cast was brilliant. And the audience was great..huge applause after each song, especially "Sit Down Your Rockin' the Boat" and curtain call and such.
Anyhoo I highly recommend it to EVERYBODY. I will never get over how good that was. My life has now been fulfilled.
So to make my point clear: Go see it. It's incredible.
The end.

"Adelaide" isn't technically NEW for the production... Sinatra sang it in the MGM movie version.
Glad you enjoyed it. And I am, of course, extremely jealous. :-P
