Listened to the recording, its a weird recording and kinda sounds life less. Does anyone know who Libby Morris is ?? She plays Rose. I tried to find some information about her online but cant find much. Thanks :)

Posted: 7/20/12 at 8:08pmI've never heard the recording (I'd love to), but I did hear her sing a huge chunk of the score on a Jule Styne tribute concert CD once. Nice voice. Not sure what else she's done.

Posted: 7/20/12 at 8:15pmI don't think they are. Probably just have to settle for bootlegs. She sounds terrific from what I've heard.

Posted: 7/20/12 at 8:20pmYeah. Would have been nice, but it was such a small, limited run production. I never expected it to. Just glad the UK finally got a decent production of the show again. If I'm not mistaken, they hadn't seen a good production of it since Angela Lansbury's production.

She does, I wish a cast recording was made
Hopefully she will reprise the role on the west end

The production was not actually in London, it was in Leicester, and it was incredible - O'Connor is surely a Rose for the ages and I've no doubt she'll play the role again.

I've heard Morris' Rose described as a combination of Merman and Lansbury, but I'd also throw Kay Medford into the mix. Some of her readings are odd/funny and there are a few sour notes.
Bonnie Langford is even more enjoyable on this version.
To the OP: If you google image Libby Morris, the fourth picture is a scan of her program bio.
