Gypsy OBCR Preorder At Theater

I was wondering if anyone had preordered the Gypsy OBCR from the theater. I went last week and overheard the merch person telling a customer that if they preordered the CD they would leave with a CD with 5 of the songs - just wondering if anyone had done this and what the five songs are.

It's the 5 song sampler released before TONY time. Also it is the ORCR not OBCR.

The 5 songs are Some People, If Mamma Was Married, Everything's Coming Up Roses, Together Wherever We Go, and Rose's Turn. It's not worth getting from the theatre since it comes out in 3 weeks and if you buy it from Barnes and Noble you get an extra disc with a few songs for a cheaper price.

defyingravity, it is an Original Broadway Cast Recording= OBCR!!! What do you think ORCR stands for?

I prefer the term "Broadway Revival Cast Recording"...BRCR. I mean, it's the original cast but not the original revival. And it's on Broadway. Who knows.

"2008 Broadway Revival Cast Recording" just makes more sense than "2008 Original Revival Cast Recording" or "2008 Original Broadway Cast Recording."
