I don't think it's given one per every show upon it opening. I think they give it out when they see someone deserving... but I don't think it has to be a chorus member. Carmeny Ruby Floyd (Gary Coleman) of AVENUE Q got was the second recipient of one for the 03-04 season, and she certainly isn't considered part of the "chorus".

Posted: 3/27/05 at 8:05pmi read somewhere that it is given to the chorus member with the most credits. i think they have a new one each season and give it to one person in each show that opens that season.
