Posted: 3/18/08 at 7:42amJust incredible. It certainly isn't as much of an event as it was at City Center, but still didn't fail to amaze me. Not a bad thing I can say about it, except that the curtain call is about 13 minutes too long. And give Patti another solo bow. Just good good good, can't say enough about it or her or anyone else in the show. Nancy Opel had big shoes to fill, but it's done so admirably, and the house was packed. those were my only concerns, so everyone who hasn't seen it, go!

Nancy Opel is not in this production. She is currently in the Drowsy Chaperone tour.

Posted: 3/18/08 at 9:36pmThe sentence is worded weird - saying Opel had big shoes to fill and it's (it IS = present tense) done admiringly. I don't mean to sound picky, but I understand now. Glad you liked the production, DaintyJack. I saw it last week and loved it too!

Lenora Nemetz, playing Mazeppa is making an amazing comeback to Broadway and she and her legs look perfect!

Lenora can fill anyone's shoes...including Ms. LuPone's should she fall ill.
Edit: Ms. LuPone is much politer than "Patti"
