Gypsy of the Year today

Plenty of talent,dedication and good will up there but the show was the worst I have seen. Granted this is a fund raiser and celebration of the dancer and Bravo for raising a ton of money for a worthy charity...but it really was sleep inducing. Where was the satire, the parodies, the dish? I remember crying from laughter at some of the skits in past shows. The writing this year was bad and pedestrian...the skits that were meant to be comedic flopped. Nothing clever...some shows had representation of 3 or 4 people. Seems like there was not a lot of enthusiasm put into it this year-maybe reflecting the mediocrity of the season?. Seth Rudetsky should crawl back into the pit at Phantom and stay there. What a turn off-slow down man... He thought the show was all about HIM!- And then I did, I remember when I...etc. and all those references to music were tired. I miss the hosts of yesteryear- Harvey, Jonathan Harady who brought fun and class to the event.... Julie White was just there. We were also given the history of her career. Standouts were the opening-fun take off of SYTYCD, the brilliant soprano hunk from Chicago, and the brilliant pianist. I left before the Michael Jackson medley from WSS. Was pretty full house.
