Posted: 11/23/04 at 3:49pmdoes anyone remember the scene between tracy and edna... when she's trying to convice edna to let her go to the audition? edna says something about "people like us," meaning plus-sized ladies,"just don't do that" or something like that? what are the lines? i love that scene. Posted: 11/23/04 at 3:59pmhow it begins? first penny and tracy walk in after school, tracy had detention. they start to watch the corny collins show. then penny leaves. as penny leaves wilbur walks in. then tracy tells wilbur shes gonna audition for the show, afer her mother says no. and then enda says to wilbur, talk to her honey, people like us are only put on tv to get laughed at.

Posted: 11/23/04 at 4:03pmim really not sure i know tracy says" mamma i wanan be famous" and enda says " you wanan be famous, do you well learn how to get blood outta car something i forget the word" tracy makes a funny face and enda says" thats a lesson you can take to the grave"..i dont know know the rest of hand. but if you have hairspray the roots, its in there.

I think it's something like:
TRACY: "But Mama, I wanna be famous!"
EDNA: "You want to be famous? Learn to get blood out of car upholstery. That's a talent you can take straight to the bank!"
I love the scene, but I don't quite get that joke. Anyone care to explain it? (Is it about how many girls lose their virginity in the back of a car?)

You are going to have to go further then that to get around me young lady...Nobody is auditioning for anything.And what did I tell you about that hair?...Got it all ratted up like a teenage jezzebel (sp).
Oh mother you are so 50`s.Even our first lady Jackie B Kennedy rats her hair.
Well ...you aint no first lady are you...No,she`s a hair hopper.Is what she is.And it got her put in detention again...Wilber will you talk to her...Girl`s like Tracy...you know People like us...They don`t put people like us on television...Except to be laughed at....Thats about it...

Hi Marc...We love you.You met my daughters after the show on October 3rd...The big exodus...You said...See the show or just hanging out...When they told you they had seen it 13 and 14 times...you were like...Wow!
It is the best show that we have ever seen...Truely impossible to leave it feeling anything else but GREAT!
