Okay, I don't know if I'm like the last to know or something, but Carly's leaving Hairspray! I think she's great... apparently, they had a casting call monday for the role... we'll see...

oookkaaayyy.. obviously you don't knwo who casting works.

a casting call does not mean that a role IS open or opening up soon.

haha okay that makes me retarded... you're right i have no idea how a casting call works... thanks though, saves me embarassment in the future. :)

they have to have casting calls for shows at regular points in time. They have a Tracy call because they are VERY spefici about that role. Note the casting call mentioned FUTURE replacememnts. also, it didn't say it was for broadway either. they also have a two and at least two confirmed international stagings.
