Wow, loads of cast members are leaving. I hope Donna gets to be a part of the B-way company one of these days. I liked her as Shelley and from what I hear she was great when she went on for Tracy.

Is anyone seeing the show in LA this weekend with the little girl from Make A Wish that they talked about on the Rent Boards? If so, please tell us how it went. I think the Hairspray Cast is AWESOME for doing this and as Bette would say "God is watching us from a distance"! What a way for some of this cast to go out together. By the way Jim, I met Johan? at the stage door once and he almost knocked me down on his rollerblades speeding by, and stopped to make sure I was ok, what a DOLL!!
I met her tonight and she is ADORABLE!

I think Donna Vivino is going to do OPPOSITE OF SEX with Kerry Butler. I hope I get to see her do Shelly again someday.

Jim, the Musical director of the Hairspray tour, posted a rundown of who is leaving and their replacements, IF the replacement is known. He did NOT post that Sandra is leaving.. so.......

Yeah. I saw her as Penny in Chicago and she was great. She and Seaweed (Chester) were my favorite part of the show. Sorry I missed Terron though. I hear he's just as amazing.

wow! Jordan, the girl I just saw playing Amber in LA
(and Maureen in Rent before) and Terron, Seaweed, are leaving? Why? How long have they been with the Tour? Do you know what their plans are? Where do you go after being in the top National Tour? I guess I am glad I got to see them, I have not checked this board for a few days, guess one misses alot. I wonder if she is single? ok, just dreamin now...........

broadwayguy2???? Jimmy-Jam???? allrighty then! what's it gonna be? Maybe you could invent a new condutors baton and call it a "Jimmy-Jam". anyways for Mr. Vuckovich's birthday he did say he wanted to still "travel light" so keep it small! and I agree with you, I wish all the tour cast could go to Broadway, but maybe that is just not in the cards, or maybe some have new committments.
I think you need DETENTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's just upsetting people get all bent out of shape for nothing... SOrry Jim... We all still love ya...
Sorry Jim for these unfortunate events.

WOW! This is so weird, I just posted yesterday on another thread how much I appreciated the people on this board, I needed help with a production, and immediatley someone answered it. I only asked about the cast in general several days ago since Little Inez had been mentioned by a person, and it began to peak my curiosity. I am so sorry to lose this venue for your sake as well as ours. We will miss you, but never your music, just let us know from time to time how you are doing and what you are doing, in the meantime remember this to help you along; Proverbs 19:11 "A man's wisdom gives him patience; it is to his glory to overlook an offense".

OUCH.
:-/ Sorry that happened Jim. People in this business can be a little.. well.. I won't say......
Jim,
So sorry to hear this. It will be our loss. . Did you g get your new place? Are we secondary home neighbors?
It's a shame that someone involved with the production complained about Jim. I, for one, have always welcomed his posts. I don't understand what all the fuss is about, it's not as if he said anything derogatory. As a HUGE Hairspray fan, I'm very disappointed.
Many thanks to Jim for his past posts. I will definitely miss the Hairspray updates from him.
