HAIRSPRAY Pop Up Ad

I'm on an iPad and every time I go back or forward on a forum page, the HAIRSPRAY ad pops up. Does this happen to others? Fortunately there is no sound. Before this the THE BOOK OF MORMON popped up but not as often. I get BWW is a free site and they need revenue, but so annoying. Wouldn't it be nice it the pop up stopped after a couple times? I'm not very computer savvy...is there a way to stop the ad for appearing countless times when I visit here? Would a pop up blocker work in this case?

I am not getting the Hairspray pop up but get BOM constantly.  I agree it is annoying.

I dislike the most recent ads in the middle of posts and or articles. Every time I see them,  I keep thinking I've come to the end of the page and I leave. Especially if your using your cell or tablet.
