On the playbill for "HAIRSPRAY", there is a picture of half of a girl's face with blue hair. Does anyone know if that is Marissa Jaret Winouker or someone else?

Speaking of which, was that Jane's picture in the "Nine" revival logo?

I got this coffee table book with the libretto and notes from the writers and stuff. It said that the original cast (or at least Marissa) did photo shoots for Vogue and I think Elle. Does anyone know where I could find them?

ShbrtAlley44, wasn't the Nine logo Sarah Gettelfinger (sp)?

No - it's not Sarah or Jane - I think it's just a random woman probably not even in the show. That logo existed long before the production was ever actually on stage.

Why Did they have it look like that?

well because they took the picture, altered the coloring and edited it to be just half the face because that is what they wanted the logo to be. I have seen the actual picture that the logo was made from and it would have been an AWFUL logo if left untouched. The logo has a graphic quality and a 'nameless' quality that the original doesn't. Using an untouched photo of Marissa as the logo for EVERY company and future company would have been a BAD idea.
