I don't know what they were thinking. She is not a big enough name to fill the Greek. Linda Eder isn't selling very well the following week either.. So look for discount tickets for her coming soon.

First I was bummed, because I paid full price for my tix when they were first on sale. These seats are, however, in Section C, so I'm glad I got mine when I did (I'm such a seat snob). If you don't mind sitting in the back, you can also go to Ticketmaster and use the code AMEX (for the American Express offer) or TMDEAL for the other special offer. Yesterday they had seats in Section B (but they may be gone by now at this price).

Yeah, I was surprised that the Goldstar tickets were in section C, especially considering it said on the website that the normal price for those tickets were $55, and on ticketmaster, the $55 tickets got you B section seats...Hmm.


I'm a seat snob too, JarNerd, but I also have a really cut down budget, hahahaa.

I practically had to BEG my mother to let me go to this, as I have been cut off from seeing shows this summer since I've spent too much money on it already.

Where are your seats?

I am in Section A, Row E. Last week, somebody was selling front row of the Pit for only $35.00 more each than I paid for Row E. That would have been awsome, but since I couldn't sell my Row E tickets to anybody, I couldn't justify buying the Pit tickets (and I've justified A LOT to be down in front.)

I'm bummed I'm so far back..but hopefully I'll get far up Section C seats (I don't know WHERE in Section C I'm sitting yet, sad....)

But I'm just so happy and excited to be going. Any Cheno is good Cheno, in my opinion. No matter how far back I am, hahaha.

Charlayne Vivika - do you have anything nice to say? All the threads you've contributed to, you have made a negative comment. If you are not 'fond' of Kristin, don't look at at thread concerning her. And definitely don't comment on her height, when it has nothing to do with her amazing talent.
Plus, if that photo is of you, you are in no position to slag anyone off.

You can still get at least 4 great seats together in any of the sections so any late picky seat purchasers should not be reluctant to buy. I wonder why they didn't pick a smaller venue though. When LuPone taped her concert she did it at the 1200 seat McCallum and McDonald and Buckley were at the Donmar.

Hey, isn't there a place near the Greek where you can park your car and still HEAR what's going on? LOL Just kidding. My brother had his high school graduation there and ...well, long story.

I'm missing out this time cause I just spent way too much money in NY but have fun! Let us know how it was.

Man, I am so excited for this concert tonight, but I have been trying for DAYS to find someone who will go with me, and no one I know can. I want to go, but I don't want to go alone. ARGGH. Not to mention, if I DO find someone to go with me, the seats will be completely far apart from each other....AHH. Angst.

well..the Nederelanders put on her last concert at the Disney Concert Hall...I would guess since they own the Greek Theatre they are sponsoring this too. They don't have any small venues in LA that would work...and since Disney Concert Hall was sold out I'm guessing they figured the Greek might too.

The Greek is small by outdoor venues standards. I saw Buble there in that section and the seats were fine. Also.. can someone provide a link to the info witch states this is being taped for pbs?
