HAPPY END Original Broadway Production with Meryl Streep?

It seems to be a widely forgotten piece of history that Meryl Streep starred in the original Broadway production of this Weill/Brecht musical a few years before she achieved the massive success in film that she still enjoys.

She received a Drama Desk award nomination for Best Actress, but despite the show receiving nominations for Best Musical, Best Book and Best Original Score, Streep was not nominated at the Tonys.

Does anybody remember this production?

There's a decent quality audio of the production in circulation. Too bad they didn't record it as it's a great Weill score. Christopher Lloyd was also in it.

I love the production design.
