If you are in the DFW area and have not yet seen HAZARD COUNTY at Kitchen Dog Theater, you have but three chances to see one of the best plays I have seen in a long time.
I had no idea what I was in for last night, which, I think, made the experience that much richer. So, I will give you the briefest of synopsis:
"The story of an unexpected attraction between a young widow and reality TV producer interspersed with recollections of "The Dukes of Hazzard", this evocative play takes a deep look at the small town South."
If you are in Atlanta, Actor's Express also has a production running.
I am not a shill, though I do have friends in the show. I am just disheartened that people are missing an incredible night at the theater.
