Playbill is reporting that the movie will get its HBO premiere only next month. The announcement is a bit odd - first of all, because it's coming so soon before the release without any apparent lead-up. Made even stranger by the fact that there's no specific date announced. I guess this isn't so uncommon with streaming movies though, especially when they aren't expected to be mainstream money-makers for them.
I stand by everything I said in my November post above. Will be curious to watch it with an open mind, despite my dislike of the play.

Not hugely encouraged by the trailer. Some aspects look better than the play, but they might have overcorrected in other areas. We shall see.
