What were some of Stephen Trask and John Cameron Mitchell's musical influences when writing HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH? Iggy Pop is there, of course, as is David Bowie. Who else?

Lou Reed, for sure. This won't entirely answer your question, but Hedwig's oven monologue is somewhat revealing on the subject:
"Late at night, I would rest my head on the top rack . . . and listen to the American masters . . . Toni Tenille . . . Debby Boone . . . Anne Murray - who was actually a Canadian working in the American idiom. Then there were the crypto-homo rockers: Lou Reed . . . Iggy Pop . . . David Bowie - who was actually an idiom working in America and Canada."

"Angry Inch" reminds me, in portions, of "Bodies" by The Sex Pistols, a HUGE influence on Trask, obviously.
"Midnight Radio" is a rewrite of Bowie's "Rock & Roll Suicide" from Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.
Probably other influences, if you ask me: The Buzzcocks.

KISS, Queen, and any other wildly theatrical glam-rock band...some Meat Loaf...and there are definite suggestions of the Beatles in some of the harmonies and arrangements (of "Wig in a Box", especially).
